Tomy’s Grip and Grab Musical Monkey Review

Take It From Mummy has been sent a gorgeous little monkey to review! At first glance you would be forgiven for thinking that it’s a teething toy, but there’s so much more to the Grip and Grab Musical Monkey!

Baby just has to grab any of his arms or legs to set him off, then they can watch as his colourful tummy goes whirling round with the cute banana design. The monkey also plays a different tune from each arm or leg which is sure to captivate a baby! (our two year old is attracted to it, so we think it will be a big hit!) The grip and grab monkey is cleverly shaped so little hands can hold on, he also has bendable limbs, baby can pull them down to make his tummy spin. Made of safe, durable material, the ends also double as soothing teethers which your baby can chew on. Designed to teach early cause and effect sequences, this toy will encourage independent play, exploration and coordination.

The grip and grab monkey is suitable for 6 months and upwards.

Our Mum’s panel reviewer, Heather, trialled Tomy’s Grip and Grab Musical Monkey with her six month old little boy and here is her verdict!

Heather Says:

Packaging enabled clear viewing of product however as it was open fronted product may suffer some damage or dirt. Easy to remove from box.

Toy looked appealing and was easy to work out what to do with it. My baby was able to move the arms and legs to make the music play. It also hung easily from a play gym from one arm.

I am not sure how durable the soft hands would be over time however my little boy loved chewing them, a great teething aid.

Smooth hands and fluid movement. I like the nice smiley face and the spinning centre.

Hands could get scratched and dirty quite easily.

What could make it even better?

Covered packaging.

Definitely worth trying as would not have picked it up off shelf. My little boy has enjoyed rolling over on his side to look at it and chewing on the soft hands.
