JR Gill Investments is a small, family run business in property and investments. As bookkeeper at JR Gill Investments, you will work within a small, friendly, family focused team. This is a part-time office based role in Leamington Spa that offers flexibility and a great work environment.

The Job:

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for accurately recording all financial transactions, managing accounts payable, preparing financial reports, and analysing financial data. Your attention to detain in accounting software will be beneficial in this role. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:
Mange all aspects of the company’s financial records and bookkeeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions on accounting software
Implement Xero Software
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash
flow statements
Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Skills:
Proficient in Xero and Excel
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years Bookkeeping experience

The Salary:

£12 per hour

The Hours:

12 hours per week. The preferred working days are a Monday and Wednesday (can be worked between school hours). These are open to flexibility for example you could work 09:00am – 15:00pm  Monday and Wednesday, or distribute the 12 hours over 3 days.
