Dubbed as ‘The ultimate pub garden unlike any other’ Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge brings his ‘Pub In The Park’ event to Warwick, following successes across the UK. This event marks the first of its’ kind at St Nicholas’ Park in the heart of Warwick and has plenty to offer everyone. Families are welcome during the afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday & the festival continues for people over 16 years in the evenings on both Friday, Saturday. All children aged 5 and under go free!

Here’s a quick round up of everything happening at Pub In The Park, which runs from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July in Warwick.

Pub In The Park offers chef demonstrations, music acts, pop up pubs and restaurants and live music. Featuring local eateries and businesses, The Rose & Crown, Warwick, The Cross at KenilworthChurchill Arms in The Cotswolds alongside many more from across the UK. There are plenty of bars serving cocktails, gin, beer, chef demonstrations, masterclasses, tastings and plenty of shopping too.

What’s on for the children?

    • Cinema tent with comfy beanbags to show some family favourites.
    • Cookies Kitchen are bringing a series of cooking sessions to Pub in the Park. Children will have the chance to make their very own rainbow salad pots and decorate cupcakes with these specialists in children’s cookery.
    • There will also be a chance to get creative with arts, crafts and nature activities.
    • We are also delighted to welcome Anne Stairmand, hilarious children’s writer who has published six books ranging from 3-11 years old. Anne will be doing an activity called Build Your Own Dragon based on one of the books – Desmond’s Dragon. Anne will also be promoting her new book “The Idiot Family on Holiday” and be signing all her books at a reduced price.
    • Giant outdoor games such as Connect4, quoits, Jenga and Naughts & Crosses!
    • Stagecoach Performing Arts will be joining in the fun and bringing us some drama games for your budding your actors and actresses. They will also be offering your children the chance to learn some fantastic dance routines.
    • Finally, enjoy Knight’s Training Camp with Warwick Castle’s very own knights in shining armour! Kids and grown-ups alike will get the chance to meet the knights and learn some medieval combat skills in a fun and easy way! Don’t miss out!
