We’re lucky to have so many well-known attractions across Warwickshire, but this May half-term we wanted to share a few ideas that are a little different and shine a light on some brilliant smaller businesses and local attractions.

Quarry Park Disc Golf
Location: Old Milverton Lane, Leamington Spa
Set across 20 acres of countryside, Quarry Park Disc Golf offers a unique outdoor activity that is great for families, groups and beginners. The course includes both a shorter beginner-friendly route and a larger 27-basket course for those wanting more of a challenge. There is also a small pro shop, picnic benches and free parking on site.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK and this new venue in Stratford-upon-Avon is a fantastic place to give it a go. The site features five padel courts, a pickleball court, a café, reformer Pilates studio and recovery suite, making it ideal whether you want a full activity day or just to try something different with friends or family.

Ryton Pools Country Park
Location: Ryton-on-Dunsmore
Ryton Pools Country Park is celebrating its 30th anniversary this May half term with a special family fun day on Wednesday 27 May from 10am to 4pm. Activities include miniature train rides, pond dipping, minibeast hunting, market stalls, live music, maypole dancing and more.
