June 2019

Saturday 8th June 2019 12 – 2pm – NCT Nearly New Sale

Saturday 8th June 2019 – Kenilworth & District Agricultural Society 2019 Show

Held opposite Stoneleigh Park, an event for all the family including… Quad Bike Display Team, The Sheep Show, Heavy Horses, The Grand Parade of Livestock, The Countryside Arena, Farm Machinery, Dog Show, YFC Fencing & Health & Safety competitions and much much more!

Children under 16 go FREE. Adult tickets are £12.50 in advance from https://www.kenilworthshow.co.uk/tickets

Sunday 9th June – The Farm, Stratford, Open Day 10 – 4pm

Free to enter! Open Farm Sunday will run between 10am and 4pm with a whole host of activities and displays for all the family. Tractor and trailer rides, farming displays, food demonstrations and traditional farm games such as welly wanging! It promises to be a great day.

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2019 Leamington Peace Festival

11am – 7pm on Saturday 15th June -`ღ´- 11am – 6pm on Sunday 16th June

With over 100 charity, campaign and commercial stalls, lots of vegetarian and vegan food, workshops, kids entertainment, peace talks and music on 2 stages, you won’t want to miss the 41st annual peace festival!

Pugstock, Sunday 16th June

On June 16th, Fathers Day Sunday, starting at 11am on Guys Cliffe Road outside The Fat Pug Pub the famous annual PugStock Street Festival will be kicking off this year supporting Myton Hospice.
There will be Live Music from a range of artists, amazing street food and plenty of drinks from our outdoor bar and The Fat Pug.
Everyone’s Invited and obviously bring your dads (or dads drag along the family).

Dogs Trust Kenilworth, Fun Day. Sunday 16th June

Join us for our annual fun day! It’s sure to be a great day. Activities include: a Fun Dog Show, Dog Activity Village, Dog Demonstrations, Rehoming Parade, Kids Marquee, Trade Stalls, Hot Food, Cake and Refreshment Stall, Raffle, Tombolas and much more.

Entrance fees are: £2.50 per adult, 50p per child

And don’t forget, you can bring your pre-loved items to our Fun Day Drop Stop for us to sell through our charity shops. Clothing, books and bric-a-brac donations are much appreciated, but please no furniture as unfortunately, we don’t have the space!

Sunday 16th June 2019 10 – 5pm – From here to there, Warwick Arts Centre

Free entry. This summer we invite you to twirl, stretch, jump, and shake it all about at next Family Day.
The day is inspired by all things movement, so bring along your scooters, bikes and roller skates and explore a range of free art, craft, sports and sciencey activities across our growing Family Day site!

Keep energy levels topped-up with tasty treats from our food market and cafés, or bring a packed lunch to enjoy in our picnic areas. We’re crossing our fingers and toes for sunshine, so don’t forget the sunscreen and hats, but we’ve plenty of fun spaces to shelter in if we get rain. Saturday 29th June 2019 – SCBU Fest

Hosted by local Mums Nicki & Lucy SCBU Fest aims to raise money for Warwick Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit & promises fun for all ages, including music, stalls, workshops, food, bouncy castles and much more. See the Facebook event here for more information.

5 – 7th July Godiva Festival

Godiva Festival will be ticketed for the first time in 2019. Attendees will not be able to enter the Godiva Festival site without a ticket, which can be purchased online now. There will be a children’s craft area, mini petting farm, children’s food area and miniature railway. Plus acts such as Busted and The Levellers.

Tickets cost £2 per person, per day. Children under 5 years old go free (but will still need a ticket). More info on the Godiva Festival Website here

Stratford River Festival – Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July 2019

On Saturday 6th July and Sunday 7th July 2019, the banks of the River Avon will play host to this vibrant event, which brings together boaters and the local community to enjoy a feast of entertainment. Based on and around Stratford’s Recreation Ground, both days will feature a full programme of events and activities.
You’ll find there’s something for everyone, from live music to a range of interesting stalls, market traders and delicious food and drink outlets.

Sunday 7th July – Leamington Spa Half Marathon –

KIDS RUN FREE EVENT

Children can join this free event where every child taking part will receive a medal, our children took part last year & loved it! Click here to enter yourself or your child OR both! 

Saturday 13th July – Leamington Carnival

Leamington Carnival brings together the many different people in and around Royal Leamington Spa, with a sense of community and connectivity, to celebrate their diversity, creativity and energy.
Carnival Festival & Fun Fair starts at 11am, Parade leaves Campion Hills from 12noon. The Festival will be open to the public from 11am until 6pm, and will run alongside the Leamington Carnival Procession & Barkers Fun Fair in the Pump Room Gardens.

Saturday 13th July – Splat Arts Festival, Jephson Gardens 

Arts Active Network is an arts project run by 3 primary schools in South Leamington Spa in partnership with Warwick Arts Centre. St Patrick’s, Sydenham and Clapham Terrace Primary Schools have worked over the last year with artists on a series of ‘See, Make, Share’ activities allowing them to see the work of professional artists in a variety of artforms, make new works of art of their own inspired by these visits and then share them with the other schools and with friends and families.

Draycote Water 50th Family Fun Day, Saturday 13th July

Event times
9:30 family fun run in the country park
10:30 event (activities) start time
16:30 event finish time

Activities
Free activities include; land train which takes you around the site, den building, circus skills, pond dipping, sailing taster sessions, fly fishing taster sessions and education buses – where you can learn all about the journey of water from reservoir to tap – with interactive games. We also have a giant inflatable slide, which you can pay to go on.

Please sign up on the day to take part in the pond dipping, sailing and fly fishing sessions. Bring a picnic and join us for our family fun day to celebrate!

Sunday 21st July 2019 – Mister Magnolia – St Johns House, Warwick

Join Mister Magnolia on his wacky adventures, filled with Folksy Theatre’s bold characters, live music, puppetry and audience interaction, it’s a day out not to be missed! Based on the book by the legendary Quentin Blake. Book your tickets here.

Sunday 21st July, Kenilworth’s Food Festival

Kenilworth’s Food Festival is a celebration of the town’s fantastic restaurants, bars, and cafes, as well as some of the finest regional food & drink producers. There will be a line up of over 80 traders. There will also be plenty to do for the whole family, with children’s amusements and captivating make and take craft workshops. Come and join us for a day of great food and entertainment!

Warwick Folk Festival 25th – 28th July 2019

Party on Smith Street, Saturday 27th July 10 – 8

Come and see what individual delights the shops have to offer from unusual gift ideas, hair & beauty treatments and a variety of food options. Smith Street is a delightful area to explore and whether you’re new to Warwick or not, the Party will be sure to give you a reason to return. In addition to the shops providing a warm welcome to visitors, there will be street entertainers, live music, craft stalls, street food, face painting and balloon modelling.

Rhythm Time August classes for pre schoolers and their families. 
We will be running our super summer classes again for 3 weeks in August. These are always very popular and sell out so please do get booked in ASAP. They include a 40 minute class, followed by 20 minutes biscuits and play.
