Saturday 1st September 2018

Moreton in Marsh Show

Join us in 2018 for an exciting and action packed day of all that’s best in British farming and the countryside. You can take a look at hundreds of beautiful farm animals and watch some of the best horses and riders in competition. Moreton Show has lots of family fun from terrier racing and stunt motorbikes to Tractor Ted and circus skills. We have scores of trade stands selling fantastic country clothing and fabulous gifts. At Moreton we also celebrate farm to fork with delicious British food. Come and join us to experience the countryside in a day. See you there!

Family Fun includes Circus Whizz, vintage Land Rovers, displays by the North Cotswold Gym Club from Upper Rissington and the Aria Dance Group from Broadway. All the family loves a Dog Show and, at Moreton, there is one always full of fun for dogs and their owners. This year, the early displays include one by the assistance dog charity, Dogs for Good. Top of the bill this year in the Grand Arena is the dare-devil stunt rider, Matt Coulter

Godiva Festival Coventry

Godiva is back for its 20th Anniversary.. a little later in the calendar than usual. Don’t be fooled into thinking that it’s for older people, theres plenty happening for families, including a mini petting farm, fairground, the make space tent has lots of family activities happening throughout the weekend and if you can make it by lunch time on Saturday children can watch Andy and the odd socks too! Located in War Memorial Park in Coventry it’s set to be a great weekend!

Dirty Dancing – drive-in movie – Stratford Upon Avon

Rotaract are excited to announce our Drive-In Movie Event Fundraiser at Stratford-Upon-Avon Racecourse. We will be showing the 1987 classic movie Dirty Dancing, on a 40 foot theatre-sized movie screen with drive-in style parking. There will also be a dedicated area for people without cars, sound will be broadcast over speakers in this area. It will be outside, so please wrap-up warm! Film starts at 8pm. – Gates open at 4pm.

Funds raised will benefit Rotary Homeless Shelter Bus and local charities in the Stratford-Upon-Avon area.

Fancy dressed encouraged! Well behaved dogs welcome 🙂

Firework Champions – Ragley Hall

Now in its 14th year, but brand new to sixth venue Ragley Hall – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10 minute firework display choreographed to music followed by a finale display from organisers MLE Pyrotechnics.

Dandy’s Big Birthday Bash – 10.15am – 12.15pm

Join us on Saturday 1st September to celebrate all things Dandy. There will be Stage 1 demos to join, a big Dandy sing along for all at 11.30am, bouncy castle and the ever popular diddy cat grande prix track from Best Party Hire, pottery paining, face painting, crafts, stall and refreshments and this is only the start! More to be announced very soon! Just £5 per family of 4 on the day. Get it in your diary and join the Dandy fun!

Help support Warwick Hospital’s new midwife led unit by either selling or buying at this event.

Dallas Burston Polo in the Park 

Entry £10 per car. Presented by Touch FM’s Ollie & Si, this year’s event boasts a falconry display, ferret racing, camel displays, polo and food vendors.

Leamington Food Festival

Leamington Food Festival is running again in 2018. This will be the festival’s 11th year and is showing no signs of slowing down. The event is hugely popular with local families and offers plenty of food, drink and entertainment.

This event is free so take a picnic blanket, soak up the atmosphere and support the independent local businesses in our area.

Discover Chesterton Windmill

Chesterton Windmill

10.30am – 4.30pm (last entry 3.30pm)

A chance to go up inside Chesterton Windmill and see it in action! We took our children and they loved seeing inside and it was so lovely to see the sails going round. No booking necessary but donations welcomed.

Bing Live at The Royal Spa Centre

It’s a Bing Thing! Bing is coming to Leamington’s Royal Spa Centre on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th September with four shows over two days. Tickets are still available so you can treat your small people.

SCBU Family Fun Day – Chase Meadow Community Centre – 1.30 – 4.30pm

Family and children’s activities including:
Bouncy Castle, Soft Play and Baby Sensory
Creative and crafty fun activities

Delicious coffee and cake will also be available.

Stratford Upon Avon Town Food Festival – Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd September

The Stratford Town Centre Food Festival is all about local, featuring a bustling regional food producers market with over 100 stalls spread throughout our historic streets. Also showcasing a mouthwatering selection of the finest food and drink with a top notch programme of free demonstrations and hands-on workshops from the best of our town’s culinary talent……………. there’s plenty of fun on offer for all the family.

There is also a great opportunity to discover the array of independent eateries and watering holes throughout the town centre by participating in one of the popular Taste and Ale Trails.

Back in Warwick for another year this popular festival is free and will run from 11am – 5pm in the market square.

B’OPERA COMING TO WARWICK!
An exciting musical event called SING A RAINBOW by B’OPERA.
‘a magical, colourful and interactive musical journey for babies, toddlers and their grown ups.
The performance, which is very interactive, lasts 40 mins.  Then there’s time for play/chat and refreshments.
Booking is through Eventbrite here OR All Saints Church Office 01926 492073 Mon to Thurs 9.30am to 12.30am.
Tickets are £10 each for one grown up and up to two little ones free.
The company B’OPERA does sessions at the Birmingham Hippodrome and at St George’s Edgbaston, Birmingham.  They are a group of three professional musicians very geared to working with the youngest of children and brilliant at it.
It’s the first time the company will have been to the Warwick area.  All Saints is very much looking forward to welcoming everyone – performers and young audience-participants alike!

Halloween themed kids party with coffee & cake! Enjoy a hot drink and some cake whilst the kids burn off some energy!

Prizes for the best Halloween fancy dress costume, children’s entertainer, spooky dance moves sessions and Halloween pinata.

Dinosaur World Live – Warwick Arts Centre

An interactive show for all the family where the audience are encouraged to take photos and be as raucous as possible!

Grab your compass and join our intrepid explorer across unchartered territories to discover a pre-historic world of astonishing and remarkable dinosaurs. Meet a host of impressive creatures, including the flesh-eating giant, Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan and Segnosaurus, to name a few.

At the end of the show you’ll have the chance to meet the stars – the dinosaurs!
