Free Christmas Parking – Leamington Spa

Info from the Warwickshire District Council Website, there’s no such info for Warwick or surrounding areas.

From Saturday 18 November until Christmas Eve shoppers will be able to park for free at the Warwick District Council offices on Milverton Hill between 9.30am and 5.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition for late night shoppers there will be free parking in the Covent Garden multi-storey car park from 5pm every Thursday evening from 23 November until Christmas.


Sunday 9th December – Coombe Abbey Country Park – Santa’s Grotto

Starting this weekend and every weekend after in December Father Christmas and his elves set up their winter Wonderland grotto at Coombe. Enter the elves workshop and make your own Christmas crafts with the elves to take home before meeting and receiving a gift from Father Christmas.

Various 30 minute session times available starting from 9.30am to the last session time of 3.30pm on the dates advertised only.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt & The Snow Mouse at Warwick Arts Centre

Eathorpe Village Christmas Lights NOW ON

Eathorpe Village is one of the best villages in Warwickshire to visit if you would like to have a look at some pretty lights and show the children all the wonders of the village. The lights are now on and will be until the twelfth night, the village does get busy at times, but is definitely worth a drive up there. There are charity buckets for their nominated charities  Warwickshire Young Carers and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

Christmas At Compton Verney Sat 9th December. Meet Santa & his reindeer

Help us celebrate the end of the season with our fabulous Christmas Weekends, we’ll bring you the best of the festive period with Santa and his Reindeer, Storytelling, Concerts and more.

Father Christmas will be taking time out of his busy schedule to enjoy a couple of days out with us.

Join us in the chapel for a jolly sing-a-long of festive favourites.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
Sat 16 and Sun 17 Dec, 11am – 4pm
Create some beautiful Christmas decorations with us.

BIG BANGS AND A BRASS BAND
Sun 17 Dec, 5.30pm
Celebrate the end of the season with a Christmas firework display accompanied by the Royal Spa Brass Band.

All Christmas events and activities are included in standard DAY TICKET admission and are FREE for Members and Annual Pass Holders unless otherwise stated.

Victorian Weekend – Stratford Upon Avon – Friday Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December

Friday and Saturday 10am – 9pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm.

With over 150 stalls selling beautiful gifts and local produce the Victorian Market is always a huge hit in Stratford Upon Avon. The market boasts festive street food, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts and has events planned to thrill the crowds such as choirs, instrumental performances and dance displays as well as a Victorian carousel and barrel organ music.

We have planned our Father Christmas visit at Magic Alley to coincide with this market so we can have a truly festive family day!


Winter Wonderland Ball – Saturday 9th December

Join the sparkle and glitter of Leamington’s finest Winter Wonderland Ball! Raising funds for the Birth and Babies Appeal at Warwick Hospital. The event which is being organised by local company Top Nosh catering, promises to be brilliant! We can’t think of a better way to launch the festive season!

Dandy Development Seasonal Socials – Friday 15th & Saturday 16th December

Open to everyone, whether you have been to Dandy before or not. The ever popular Seasonal Socials will take an open play format and will be Christmas themed, with festive sensory trays to explore, tinsel, trees to decorate and a separate parachute game for babies and then for toddlers. There will be a ball pit and Bouncy Hopperz courtesy of Best Party Hire – Bouncy Castle Hire, Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth., free refreshments and a goody bag to take home with a little wrapped up present from DandyLion. The Seasonal Socials cost £10 (which includes siblings). Bookings for these events are open now. Please book quickly, last year the Saturday social sold out in 24 hours!

Enchanted Kenilworth Castle Friday 15 – Sat 23 December 2017  – 4.30pm-9pm

I dare you not to want to try this out! It sounds incredible! 

This Christmastime join with friends and family to explore the grounds of Kenilworth Castle after dark, as we open up a winter fairytale of light, colour and sound. Strings of lanterns laced through the boughs of trees and fairy lights behind leaves will lead you along an enchanting trail into a magical wonderland.

Emerging into the scene of a traditional fairground, you’ll find a carousel and swing boats to carry you back to times gone by. There will be plenty to enjoy besides – from mince pies, toasted marshmallows and mulled wine, to Christmas shopping at our heritage-inspired stalls.
